Our Approach
LIXIL stewards a massive portfolio of renowned home and interior brands serving direct shoppers and trade professionals globally. Their legacy infrastructure created significant friction for wholesale buyers attempting to browse complex B2B catalogs. They needed a unified solution capable of handling diverse regional requirements and complex business rules without sacrificing the distinct visual identity of each brand.

Our Solution
During a rigorous 17-month engagement, our team engineered a unified digital environment on Shopify Plus. We centralized shared components and backend processes to create immediate technical efficiencies across the entire enterprise portfolio.
To protect the unique positioning of brands like GROHE, American Standard, and DXV, we designed custom interfaces reflecting their specific market voices while sharing a single robust codebase. To support complex B2B sales requirements and massive data migration, our engineers wrote automated scripts to format and transfer thousands of products and hundreds of nested content pages. We utilized native Metaobjects within the new architecture to map deeply specific business logic directly into the foundation of the platform.
Our team also executed a full SAP integration to support their heavy enterprise operational needs and wholesale pricing structures. To address immediate compliance risks, we deployed a strangler architecture pattern to safely decouple payment processing from the legacy system. We integrated a compliant third-party payment gateway ensuring sensitive financial data never touched the older application. This foundational move neutralized immediate security concerns and provided the internal team with transparent risk management capabilities for large volume B2B transactions.
